An International Collaboration...

In June 2005, Ian Stock and Karim Medjad decided to make their considerable skills and broad experience available to companies averse to big firm pricing but in need of their lawyers' skills. Thus was EntrepreLaw founded.

Karim and Ian first worked together beginning in 1988 for a US law firm in Paris. Their first deal together was for a biotech start-up based in Marseille. This was before the word "start-up" was even a part of day-to-day language!

spanning almost 20 years

Before going their separate ways in 1992, they worked together on the largest acquisition then undertaken in France by a US multinational. One of the final Stock Purchase Agreements (there were two) counted over 2000 pages when all Exhibits and Schedules were included.

Working together again from 1997 through 1999, they helped French start-ups move their center of gravity to Silicon Valley.
